Privacy Policy

Thermometer – Weather Temp has no account, no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking. It asks for your location for one reason: to request the weather for where you are.

What the app collects

Nothing is collected about you. There is no Thermometer account, no advertising SDK, no analytics framework, and no third-party tracking or profiling. The developer receives no usage data from the app.

Location

If you allow location access, iOS provides your coordinates to the app so it can request the current weather and the place name for that position. The coordinates are used for that request and are not stored on any server belonging to the developer, and not shared with anyone other than Apple's weather service as part of fulfilling the request. You can refuse location access and still use the app by searching for a city instead; the app then requests weather for that city.

Weather data

Weather data is provided by Apple Weather through Apple's WeatherKit service. Requests for weather data are handled by Apple. Apple's handling of that data is described in Apple's WeatherKit attribution and legal information.

What stays on your device

This information stays in the app's own storage on your iPhone. Removing the app removes it. There is no cross-device sync and no developer backend.

Children

The app is a weather instrument with no social features, no user-generated content, and no advertising. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.
